Terms of Use

1. Operator and nature of the Service

AlphaTrend is provided by Little Harbor Labs. We provide market data displays, research tools, model scores, alerts, portfolio and watchlist workspaces, and optional community features for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Service is investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or custodian. We do not execute trades, clear transactions, or hold client cash or securities. You are solely responsible for your investment and trading decisions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the Service or other users.

3. Acceptance of Terms

Creating an account requires affirmative acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Continued use after we post updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and Terms version above.

4. Market data and research tools

Quotes, fundamentals, charts, news, model scores (including AlphaScore), ratings alignment, opportunity scans, research briefs, and similar outputs may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, or incorrect. Third-party data providers (including Yahoo Finance and other sources we may use) are not affiliated with or endorsing Little Harbor Labs. Past performance does not predict future results. Features may change, be rate-limited, or become unavailable without notice.

5. Optional brokerage connections

If you connect a brokerage account through supported integrations, you authorize us to retrieve account and holdings information solely to provide the features you enable. Broker relationships remain between you and your broker. We do not place orders on your behalf. You may disconnect integrations at any time, subject to technical and legal retention needs.

6. Community content and license

Posts, messages, theses, predictions, shared portfolios, watchlist notes, uploads, and other user content remain yours. You grant Little Harbor Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including making public or shared content visible according to your settings. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

Do not post unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, or spam content; do not attempt to manipulate markets or impersonate others; and do not scrape or overload the Service. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, and original content (excluding your user content and third-party data), is owned by Little Harbor Labs or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.

8. Privacy and security

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You agree to use reasonable safeguards for your account and devices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LITTLE HARBOR LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Little Harbor Labs and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for any violation of these Terms or to protect the Service, users, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply. Courts located in the United States will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to those mandatory protections.
